I’ve found the Mindahome team are also very proactive and happy to take on suggestions for improvement! I’ve never had a problem with any owners but both (sitter and owner) do need to be aware when selecting – and to check references provided just as you would do if you were hiring staff or booking holiday accommodation.

If you are not being accepted as a sitter perhaps you just “don’t fit” what the owner needs or wants and could perhaps adjust your expectations or rejig your resume to make it more appealing! I don’t get every gig that I respond or apply for – but that’s life and it’s all about choice !!
